Eligibility
Cochran Memorial Hospital and Morton Rural Health Clinic offers reduced or no charge services for all emergency or other medically necessary care for individuals eligible under our Charity Care and Financial Assistance Policy, available below. The eligibility criteria is outlined in Section 2 of the County Indigent Health Care Program Handbook (CIHCP). Eligibility for Cochran County Indigent Healthcare is based on the County Indigent Health Care Program Monthly Income Standard as set forth in CIHCP and updated annually. The same forms are utilizied for charity care as set forth in the CIHCP for Indigent Health Care. Eligibility for charity care has been set at 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.

- Hospice/Respite care
- Emergency Room visits
- Authorization to Release Confidential Information Use if picking records up in person.
- Authroization to Release Confidential Information Notary Required Required if records are to be sent certified mail.

Morton Rural Health Clinic records include:
- Office/Clinic visits
